WHAT IS BOTOKS INJECTION PROCEDURE?

In its essence, Botoks is a type of FDA-approved toxin that is a secreted protein by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum toxin. Botoks tightens the skin and muscles around the injection site by secreting a chemical after being injected under the skin.

Treatment of excessive sweating: Botoks weakens the muscles on the injection site, and these weakened muscles cause a reduction in sweating. Botoks may be applied to several parts of the body, such as the armpits, palms, feet, and face, to treat excessive sweating.

Treating eye twitching: Botoks application may treat continuous eye twitching by numbing the nerves around the area.

Treating muscle contractions: In some cases, Botoks application may treat muscle contractions by numbing them. However, for this treatment, you must get certain examinations and your doctor’s
